Is rimmel london any good?

I am only starting out with make-up so all i want is a light powder foundation. I am thinking about getting: Stay Matte Pressed Powder,Glam'Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara and Special Eyes Eyeliner Pencil (all are rimmel london.). And well before I buy them I was just wondering if they were any good. And if you have any substitutes. Thanks for reading. xx
