I've had my period for 3 months this time around (lasted 2 mos. before). Dr. said it was normal. Any advice?

sweetie this **** happens to me and my gyno(whom is awesome)said that i may have endometreosis so i am having a surgery(exploratory surgery) so he cansee what is going on,but theres not much i can really tell you but if your gyno thinks it is regular i may ne questioning that answer,try to get a 2nd or 3rd opinion thats what i did and now my problems are getting taken care of!!I hope this hepls if ne but i tried to take a hot at it,and i feel ya girl it's hard but i have EXTREMEMLY heavy bleeding,so thats one plus u have on me your liight cycled so it is irratating but can be fixed,oh one more thing ask your gyno about birthcontrols alot of them make you have a period when you actualy want it so just another suggestion.............
